The Bootcamp team got to interact with many students from across Goa during the two days they attended. They invited students to come by their stall and find out more details on the various courses they offer. In addition to giving them these details, the team also offered free career counselling consultations to the youngsters that wanted to know what options they had after graduation. Interestingly, there were also some teachers that came to the Bootcamp stall to inquire about upskill courses at their level.

Words Up 3.0 was held between the 14th and the 16th of February. This intercollegiate event invited students from educational institutes all over Goa to celebrate the English language through a series of word-based activities.

Some of these were the Writer’s Corner J.A.M (Just A Minute), Rap Battle, Shipwrecked, Stand-Up Comedy, Memes, and Mad Ad, along with classics like Spelling Bee, Crossword, Quiz, Cassatta, and even a debate. All these activities were designed with the objective of drawing out each participant’s creativity and talents, also giving them the chance to savour their passion for the language.

Bootcamp Goa is also known for helping students bring out hidden talents and creativity through the courses they offer. These extend to graphic design, app, and web development and digital marketing. Located at the Nordic Intent campus in Porvorim, not only does the team help students learn new skills, but they also help them refresh the ones they already have. Both of these help these students earn placements in companies across Goa in the long run.
